Dear Mela,
We are having our first rainy day we have had for some time and it is a change for the worse. Yesterday was fine and we celebrated out at St. Cloud. Taking our lunch with us we went out via the river and had a gorgeous time. The day was lovely, and in the park and gardens the day was pronounced a success by all.
I have not had any more letters since I wrote last. Will enclose another picture next time. Am busily working on Spain now and having real good success with it. The studio is great to be in and we are happy to be back in Paris.
Go to dine with the Ross Howards tonight. He asks after you.
As ever,
Alson
